Pack Walks

When:     Mondays at 2:00pm (runs all year) and 6:30 pm (stars on the spring), Saturdays 9:00 am
Where:    39660 Government Road, Squamish
Cost:       $20.00 drop in fee. No registration necessary.

Prerequisites:    Appropriate clothes for all weather conditions, appropriate shoes (no open toe shoes), treats (dry liver treats available for sale), gloves needed during cold weather conditions.

A Pack walk is a controlled walk with your dog designed to sharpen your skills as a handler. You learn to help your dog focus on you during distractions and to provide appropriate discipline while you and your dog are having a good time. The goal of a pack walk is to stimulating calmness and focus.  Your dog learns to work within a pack of dogs and to use appropriate language to sharpen his or her social skills.

Duration may vary depending on weather conditions and physical condition of participants but a minimum of 2 hours is required.
