About Us
The Canine Valley Re-education and Adventure Centre Society, CVRAC, is a non profit organisation dedicated to the re-education of dogs with behavioural problems. The CVRAC centre provides the activities, equipment and education necessary to balance people and dogs.
The CVRAC centre homes rescue dogs in desperate need of attention. These dogs come from different backgrounds and are taken care of physically, mentally and spiritually thus creating balance in their lives.
The CVRAC team works continuously to make the relationship between owners and their dogs strong enough to create trust and respect. We believe that aggression and other unwanted canine behaviours arise due to the unbalance state of a dog. A dog is unbalanced when he or she does not trust its human to be a good pack leader. We teach dog owners to consistently and calmly introduce and maintain rules and boundaries that will allow them to bee seen as pack leaders through their dog’s eyes.
Our techniques are based on the use of dog psychology. Our goal is to help owners see the world through a dog’s eyes to facilitate efficient communication with their dogs.
